Meet Dr. Danielle Anderson, DC
Helping Others
Dr. Danielle Anderson was born and raised in Boone County and has been serving the Belvidere and Rockford community since founding Acacia Chiropractic & Acupuncture P.C. in 2009. She attended Northern Illinois University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in biology. Then she went on to National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, Illinois, graduating with her Doctor of Chiropractic degree and completing post graduate certifications in acupuncture, facial rejuvenation acupuncture and animal chiropractic.
Animal Chiropractic
Dr. Anderson’s family is active in Arabian horse breeding, and she is passionate about helping humans and animals. She furthered her education at Healing Oasis Wellness Center, where she completed a nationally accredited and state-approved certification program in Veterinary Spinal Manipulative Therapy (Animal Chiropractic). She is additionally certified by the College of Animal Chiropractors.
She offers in-office care for small animals (family pets like cats and dogs), and she makes farm calls to provide care for horses and other farm animals.
Away From the Office
Her family’s horse breeding and showing business keeps Dr. Anderson and her family busy. She shows Arabian horses, who she says are the best therapists in the world.
Meet Amy Brown
Office Manager
Amy came to Acacia Chiropractic & Acupuncture P.C. as a patient first. After an ankle injury ended her previous career, she found her way onto the team and hasn't looked back. With a background in fitness and a personal trainer certification, she has always been passionate about keeping people healthy and moving well.
As office manager, Amy is often the first voice patients hear when they call and the first face they see when they walk in. She handles scheduling, billing, insurance and also assists with the cold laser therapy in the office. She takes pride in making the experience as smooth and welcoming as possible.
Outside of work Amy stay active on the pickleball court and spends time at home with her family including her two dogs, a Great Dane and Beagle/Lab mix.
